Two weeks.
Then a written scope and
a fixed number.
Most AI engagements start with a proposal written before anyone has looked at the business. This one starts by looking. You keep everything we find, whether or not you go further.
Four questions, in this order. Each one has a rubric we already published, so you can run parts of it yourself before paying anyone.
What is already running
Most companies can name one AI tool. The real answer is longer, and some of it sits on an account the company doesn't control. We find all of it, including the undocumented setup carrying real volume.
How good the output actually is
We grade a real sample against a written standard and produce an error rate. Not a benchmark. The last ten things you actually sent. Most businesses have never had this number.
Where demand leaks between systems
We map the path from first contact to closed revenue and mark every place it stalls, drops, or waits on a person who is busy. The gaps between tools cost more than the tools.
What it would take to fix, priced honestly
Every system that would need connecting, priced per connection rather than as one number, because that's the only way to compare our figure against anyone else's.
A document, not a deck. Yours either way.
| Deliverable | What it is |
|---|---|
| The inventory | Every AI tool running in the business, who owns it, and which ones survive that person leaving |
| The error rate | A real number for output quality, with the failing checks named |
| The leak map | Where demand stalls between systems, and what each stall costs |
| The scope | What to build, in what order, priced per connected system at a fixed fee |
It's cheaper for both of us to find out now.
This fits if
- You're founder-led, roughly 5 to 50 people
- AI is already touching real work and nobody is grading it
- You can name, even roughly, what a month without a fix costs you
- You want the thing built and handed over, not a training program
This doesn't fit if
- Someone inside has already built a working version. Fund them instead, and we'll say so
- You want one workflow automated. That's a project, and a freelancer will do it for less
- You can't put any number on the cost of waiting. It'll get deprioritised by week three
- You want to be taught rather than installed. Other people do that better
- Do I have to buy anything after?
- No. It ends in a written scope and a fixed fee, which is a document you can act on, shop against, or ignore. If the honest read is that you should build it internally, that's what the document will say.
- What does it cost?
- Quoted on the call, because it depends on how many systems you run and how much is already in production. No hourly billing.
- How is this different from an agency audit?
- The method is published in advance. The rubrics are free to read in the guides. Run parts of it yourself first if you want.
- What do you need from us?
- Access to look, and about two hours of the person closest to the work. Not a committee.
